There will be tomfoolery, shenanigans, and of course, lots of candy. We will be meeting in the Delano roundabout around 6, try to ride out by 7. Don't miss it!

But SATURDAY, the fun continues! The Wichita Bike Collective will be holding the first annual Halloween Bike Social, probably in Riverside Park. There will be bbq, bike races, bike polo, sweet jamz, probably whiskey (kevin ware will be in town, after all), and various other forms of bike related mayhem. Also, for anyone planning on being badass enough to ride through the winter (seriously, let's do it) I will be sharing some tips I got from some kids in Fargo in a winter riding workshop after the festivities.

Of course, there is no charge but the WBC will be accepting (read: pleading for) donations to help offset the costs of the event (food, mainly. also party streamers) AND to help fund the opening of our community bike shop! Also, donations need not be monetary! Bring your old bikes! parts! Tools! cupcakes!

I'd like to have live music but I don't really wanna deal with logistics of power, noise etc of full bands, so I'm just gonna encourage acoustic guitars (no djembes! or bongos!) and if anyone wants to take "the stage" (i.e. picnic table) and play a set or so, AWESOMEAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
